For some time now, I have been wanting to try a podcast format for the blog and I finally did it. For those of you who are fans of “The Tim Ferriss Show”, I modeled this podcast on his interview format so you’ll probably recognize that. The idea of interviewing coaches and athletes, and finding out what they do to be successful truly resonates with me, and I hope that is something that interests you as well.
So today, I present to you the first episode of “The Brian Lomax Show.” Normally, I’m not a fan of using my name or my photo in anything to do with my work, as it makes me uncomfortable for some reason, but I think it’s the right choice for this. We’ll see how that goes!
For the first episode of the show, my guest is Jaime Gaard Chapman. Jaime is a great friend of mine and has become part of a group of trusted advisors that I have in my life. I’m sure you’ll enjoy hearing her thoughts on such topics as: her core values of coaching, how sports can positively shape one’s life, choosing a college tennis program, etc.
As an FYI: The interview appears below in a video player, but there is no video. It’s audio only and the player will be black. Simply click on the play button to listen.
And one request – if you do listen to the interview, please leave a comment and let me know what you thought of it and if you learned anything interesting. Thank you!
